Last night, Nikos Kountardas was informed that there will be a court date set for him – and so, it seems, he is ending his thirst strike. Nikos continues to be on hunger strike, demanding his immediate release. It now seems likely that his demand will be decided upon tomorrow (Monday, 25.5). There is a national solidarity demonstration in Nikos’ hometown, Xanthi, happening at the moment.
