#221 | Protests for Lambros and bombs in Athens

Lambros is one of us

Despite the fact that the police claims that Lambros Foundas was a key member of a terrorist group, anarchists in Athens and Thessaloniki have launched an extended campaign in honor of him. A demonstration of memory took place today in the area where the anarchist was shot dead last week. The same time, in Thessaloniki a gathering took place. The banner above was placed at the spot of the shooting and reads “Lambros is one of us”.

After the bomb that hit yesterday in the morning the central offices of the neo-nazi group Golden Dawn, today at 16.00 o’clock another bomb exploded at the Police Directorship for Immigrants in West Athens. For both attacks there were phone calls to newspapers that were giving about 20 minutes to evacuate and no injuries happened.

During the last week, some arson attacks happened in Athens, Ioannina and Thessaloniki against state and capitalistic targets, which were claimed by groups published in Athens IMC.
