As reported last night, Radio Revolt, the anarchist radio station in Thessaloniki, has been burnt down in a fascist-led attack. According to information received so far:
- the fascists wanted their attack to have victims, as they unsuccessfully tried to trap people in the train wagon before setting it alight.
- the fire-brigade refused to aid, in co-ordination and communication with the university authorities and the police who were quick to approach the perimeter of the university.
- a roma man who happened to be outside the wagon at the time of the attack has been attacked and injured by the fascists.
This is a very serious attack – more information will be posted here once available. Radio Revolt will be issuing a statement later today, which will be translated and posted here.

‘Radio Revolt’ stazione radio anarchica a Salonicco, incendiata dai fascisti
Verso le 23.00 GMT+2 di giovedì notte, il vagone del treno occupato che ospita la stazione radio anarchica “Radio Revolt” nell’università Aristotele di Salonicco, è stato attaccato dai fascisti che l’hanno messo a fuoco.
Le poche persone che erano nel vagone durante l’attacco stanno fisicamente bene.
Come indicato nei reports di Atene IMC, i pompieri in zona si sono rifiutati di intervenire.
Il vagone è stato completamente distrutto.

Come raccontato stanotte, Radio Revolt, è stata bruciata per un attacco dei fascisti.
- i fascisti hanno cercato con il loro attacco di fare vittime, provando -senza successo – a intrappolare gente nel vagone del treno prima di appiccare il fuoco.
- le brigate dei vigili del fuoco si sono rifiutate di intervenire, in co-ordinazione e comunicazione con le autorità universitarie e la polizia, la quale ha velocemente circondato il perimetro dell’università
- un rom che si trovava fuori dal vagone durante l’attacco è stato attaccato e insultato dai fascisti.
