#558 | Mainstream opinion poll finds 40% of those questioned approve of recent violent attacks against politicians

It would have been yet another uninteresting opinion poll, of the ones often ordered by mainstream political parties to boost their image and to give a fake feeling that all is good in the Greek IMF territory. But the corporate opinion poll company (named ALCO) found that 40% of those questioned in fact approved of the recent wave of attacks against politicians in Greece. Combined with the constant flow of rumours regarding an imminent debt restructuring for the country’s economy (or even, an official default) the landscape becomes more fluid than it has been in a while.

The general strike of May 11th is a big bet: how many of these disgruntled people can we find in the streets?

Good things come to those who wait. No one wants to be covered in blood. We just want to FIX THINGS. We can do this, we have the power. Organize! In the Internet age this should be easy. It’s a hard fight though, although it is certainly one worth fighting.
