A few minutes ago, the Greek PM G. Papandreou announced a referendum for the approval of last week’s EU summit agreement, with the 50% debt ‘haircut’ — effectively a credit event. It is expected that the referendum will be held in January, though the exact question that will be posed is yet unclear.
