About 100 members of the GENOP-DEI: the union of the workers of the Public Company of Electricity entered this morning the Ministry of Development and occupied the corridors of the 6th floor of the building, where the office of the minister Papakonstantinou is. The minister was in his office where he remained blockaded for several hours. These days the parliament is going to validate officially the decision to privatise the electricity network. Obviously the plan is to sell them out for peanuts. More protesters gathered in front of the ministry and riot police invaded the building, after attacking to the workers they managed to take the minister out through the back door at about 17:30.
