Update, 15.45 GMT+2: Athens IMC is online again.

For the past few hours, Athens Indymedia has been offline. During this time, unfounded rumors have been spreading online and on the ground, regarding a supposed raid of the physical space where the IMC server is located in Athens, or even raids in the houses of individuals involved in the project.

We can confirm that no physical raids have taken place and that Indymedia is offline because the internet connection to the server (in Athens Polytechnic) has been cut off. It is yet unclear if the disconnection is temporary or permanent, accidental or malicious.
