13:00 am. The march in Athens has started, the crowd is vast. A water cannon for the first time is parked next to the parliament in Syntagma.
12:30 am The last hour the police attacked to local gatherings of strikers in Athens (Zografou, Dafni and Pagrati districts) while police officers carry out stop and search operations in the metro stations. In Gardenia Square of Zografou district in Athens 50 strikers gathered and when they tried to march towards the central gathering point in the Archaeological Museum police banned them to do so. Demonstrators chained up and refused to move police attacked them and detained more than 25 people.

Sep 26 As announced, much of the public transportation in Athens is running partially today, even though the metro stations in Syntagma and Panepistimio will be closed following police orders.
