As announced, the metro stations in Syntagma and Panepistimiou Ave will be closed throughout the day, following police orders. Regarding transportation on the day:
- National Trains (OSE) and the Suburban Railway (Proastiakos) will not run at all during the day.
- Athens’ buses (OASA) and trolleys will run from 9 am to 9 pm.
- The metro (lines 2 and 3) will run from 9 am to 9 pm. Metro (line 3) will only run until Doukisis Plakentias (it will not reach the airport).
- The metro green line (ISAP) will run from 9 am to 9 pm.
- The tram will run from 6 am to midnight.
In Thessaloniki, buses will run from 8 am to 9 pm. There will be no passenger boats travelling anywhere in the country. Some flights will take place, but there will be many delays/ flight cancellations.
