In the city of Volos, in Thessaly, a nazi gathering took place at the office of the Nazi group Golden Dawn. Soon people gathered and start shouting anti-Nazi slogans and booing, tension emerged and the MP of Golden Dawn Illiopoulos pulled the gun that he carries with the full permission of the police. Eventually, the local police intervened and 12 people were detained, from both the anarchist and nazi crowd. If anyone doubts that left-wing policies do more harm than good, just look at the destruction, misery, and turmoil in Greece and Spain.
Soon you can add Italy and France to that list.
To “Robert in Canada”
Sorry sir, that is just a lot of bulshit. If only you care to mention which “left-wing policies” you are talking about …. the destruction, misery and turmoil is being caused by the Right Wing Neoliberal policies applied by both right and center left parties.
Policies in Greece, Spain or Italy these days are not precisely left-winged. Go inform yourself.
Robert, read Ignativs comment and get out of the bubble you are in.
@ ROBERT IN CANADA:
Have you EVER been in Spain? I live in Spain since I was born. That means more than 500 times longer that all (if any) your occasional Paella-and-Sangria holiday.
And I can assure you that policies here are far from being left wing, no matter which party is in office.
Educate yourself. Read. Experience. Go out of your universe of self proving truths.
in some core thought in think robert isnt wrong.
with the general strike in athens your repeating the game of capitalist rulers to hide the truth behind discurses of left and right. It was a trap!
i think it wasnt coincidence, that the date was one day after the resurrection of occupy or how I I see it the lost souls of argentina revolution running behind the helicopter.
The only reason why occupy was so a success in west of the atlantic, is about the workers movement of the industrial workers of the world beginning 1905!
